Tramways Holiday Cottage is situated on the doorstep of the beautiful Cornish countryside and only a few miles away from the rugged and spectacular Cornish coastline.
The name Tramways marks the mining heritage of Cornwall. In the 1800’s a narrow gauge railway fed the local mines, initially with horse-drawn trams and later steam locomotives. It is now a bridleway offering walking and cycling with far reaching views over the village and surrounding countryside.
Set immediately alongside the bridleways in Tram Cross Lane, Tramways Holiday Cottage is 100 metres off the A393 Redruth to Falmouth road. The village of Lanner is less than a mile away, and has a range of amenities including a village store, post office, pubs with restaurants, petrol station and churches.
The central location of Tramways means you will be within easy reach of all Cornwall’s attractions and places of interest, as well as some in Devon. Photos of popular Cornish destinations are shown below.
